For decades, Pokémon has enjoyed a run as a juggernaut in the anime, gaming and even merchandise space, garnering millions of fans and spawning spinoff titles in the worlds of film, manga and television.

On the small screen, Pokémon has spawned eight anime series and 26 seasons, each based on a main installment of the Pokémon video game series. These shows have unsurprisingly been big hits, but their future has been called into question, at least in relation to Netflix.

The streaming giant obtained the licensing rights to broadcast Pokémon anime in 2014, and has since provided the English dub for the spinoff Pokémon: Journeys television franchise. While that title has made Netflix the first port of call for US Pokémon fans, the streamer recently announced that all of its Pokémon: Journeys series will be leaving the platform in early Sept, 2024.

It’s a move that has caught the ire of legions of fans, but what’s behind Netflix’s decision?

Why is Pokémon leaving Netflix?

In sad news for Pokémon fans, Netflix recently revealed that all four of the Pokémon: Journeys titles — including Pokémon Master Journeys, Pokémon Ultimate Journeys, and How To Be a Pokémon Master — will be leaving the streamer within the first week of September. Fortunately, the fan-favorite title, Pokémon Horizons, does not appear to be departing Netflix in the near future.

While no official reason has been given for Pokémon’s exit from Netflix, we know from similar departures that the move might boil down to licensing agreements. In the past, even the most wildly popular titles have been removed from Netflix after the licensing agreements it struck up with production companies have expired.

It’s worth noting that the ‘Leaving Soon’ notification for the Pokémon: Journeys titles seems to only appear for Netflix users in the United States, with fans in international regions like the United Kingdom and Australia seemingly able to watch those shows for the foreseeable future. What’s On Netflix reports that those international viewers should be able to watch the shows through the end of 2025, as per Netflix’s licensing deal.

Before you flock to Reddit to share your disappointment — as many fans already have — the fate of Pokémon: Journeys might not be doomed just yet. In the past, we’ve seen Netflix add the ‘Leaving Soon’ disclaimer to other Pokémon shows, only to remove it right before the expiration date after the title is renewed for another batch of episodes.

This happened in February 2024 with season 23 of Pokémon Journeys and season 24 of Pokémon: Master Journeys, so it might be the case that Netflix will pull a switcheroo again as the expiration dates near, if Journeys is renewed.

In any case, we suggest bingeing the shows anyway, because you’re never going to regret another go-around with Ash, Pikachu, and the rest of the gang.

‘That’s your daddy now’: Guy seals his own fate when he brings the friend who’s ‘good with mums’ by his house https://wegotthiscovered.com/social-media/thats-your-daddy-now-guy-seals-his-own-fate-when-he-brings-the-friend-whos-good-with-mums-by-his-house/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/social-media/thats-your-daddy-now-guy-seals-his-own-fate-when-he-brings-the-friend-whos-good-with-mums-by-his-house/#respond Mon, 12 Aug 2024 22:43:57 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1738259 What did you think was going to happen, Charlie?]]>

Every man — and, indeed, every human — has their own, unique sexual peak. But if we absolutely had to define the universal average age of that peak, then it would be right around the age where they’re definitely attracted to their partner, but they’d be lying if they said their partner’s mom — or anyone’s mom, really —wasn’t piquing their interest, too.

The thing is, when you’ve appeared on the Netflix reality show Too Hot to Handle, chances are you’ve internalized the notion that your sexual peak is going to go strong for the next handful of decades. You’re therefore inclined — nay, have a social responsibility — to rizz up everyone in sight, including your friend’s mom.

But Charlie Jeer seems to have missed this particular memo, as the recent Too Hot to Handle alum thought it would be a wise move to bring fellow contestant Chris Aalli — who Charlie befriended on the latest season, which just wrapped earlier this month — over to his house. Sure enough, Chris nestled himself firmly into Charlie’s mother’s heart in a matter of seconds, whipping out all manner of gentle-yet-involved dance moves for the occasion. If Chris hadn’t already moved on from Sabrina, he certainly has now.

Charlie jokes at the end of the TikTok that he should never bring Chris to his house ever again, but the mirthful chuckle he gives indicates that he’s just as amused by this development as his mom seems to be.

Chris and Charlie both hail from England — Chris from Manchester, Charlie from Kent — and were two of the four British contestants on season six of Too Hot to Handle. They both also finished as runner-ups on the season, narrowly missing out on the $125,000 cash pool prize. But, per People, Charlie still emerged as a winner alongside partner Katherine LaPrell, as the pair have continued their relationship following the show’s conclusion. As Charlie puts it:

I really wanted to make sure that whilst I was in there, I didn’t rush anything or make anything happen too quickly. And I think that is one reason why we have been so solid together. Because I didn’t want to ask her to be my girlfriend on the show or tell her I loved her on the show, even though I kind of knew it and felt it. I wanted to give us a chance on the outside.

But Chris, for his part, seems all too happy to rush things with Charlie’s mom, and Charlie’s mom appears to have equal or greater keenness for that ordeal. So watch out, Too Hot to Handle season seven; Chris and Mumsy Jeer seem like prime guest material from our standpoint.

When is ‘Jane the Virgin’ leaving Netflix? https://wegotthiscovered.com/netflix/when-is-jane-the-virgin-leaving-netflix/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/netflix/when-is-jane-the-virgin-leaving-netflix/#respond Mon, 12 Aug 2024 14:07:51 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1737352 Is it leaving Netflix soon?]]>

Jane the Virgin premiered in 2014, and it ran on The CW for five seasons before wrapping up in 2019. The series has been on Netflix since 2015, so is it leaving the platform soon?

For some background, Jane the Virgin is a satirical telenovela starring Gina Rodriguez, Justin Baldoni, Andrea Navedo, and Jaime Camil in the leading roles. The romantic comedy series follows Jane, a devout virgin Latina who mistakenly gets artificially inseminated during a routine trip to the gynecologist. Throughout its eye-catching five seasons, Jane is stuck in a love triangle with Rafael and Michael, with fans dividing into teams to support their favorite ship. Despite using all the common soap opera tropes, the series provided many heartwarming moments, but also humor, friendship, and quality romance.

With a rare 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the series became a comfort show for many fans, so how long can you still stream it on Netflix?

So, when is Jane the Virgin leaving Netflix?

Netflix had a deal with The CW that has since expired, which means it’s no longer able to continue streaming its shows, with Jane the Virgin being included. After the deal expired, Netflix could stream a show “during the broadcast life of the series and for a number of years beyond that.” With Jane the Virgin wrapping up in 2019, it looks like the series’ time is up.

According to Netflix, the last day to watch the series is Sept. 5. So far, it’s unclear where Jane the Virgin will head next, but given that the original deal was between Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery, not with The CW, chances are the series could eventually head to Max.

Until we find out more about the show’s streaming future, if you’re up to binge-watch all 100 episodes, the clock starts now.

We’re used to seeing Netflix trending for a plethora of reasons. Sometimes it’s because a particularly good season of Bridgerton has come out. Other times, it’s due to price increases — and never decreases, much to our chagrin. However, in the last few days, the streaming giant has been trending because of… leaks.

Over the past three days, major animated titles have been leaked as a result of a security breach that compromised Netflix’s database. While it is still not known who is responsible for the leaks, many suspect that the breach was carried out by a Southeast Asian dubbing team — though Netflix has yet to confirm these rumors. In fact, Netflix only just addressed the issue after one of its major titles — Heartstopper — was also affected by the leak ahead of its scheduled release. Unfortunately, that’s not the only major title that has been released.

Which shows Netflix shows were leaked?

Surprisingly, the leak hasn’t just affected Netflix’s animated shows. While the majority of the titles include Japanese and American productions, more titles, including non-animated series, have been added to the list just a few hours ago. On that note, here are all the titles that were leaked during this cyberattack:

  • Heartstopper – Season 3
  • Arcane – Season 2
  • Dandadan – 6 Episodes
  • Terminator Zero Anime – Season 1
  • Ranma 1/2 – 4 Episodes
  • Re: Zero – Season 3, Episode 1
  • Mononoke The Movie

Netflix has assured users, in an issue stated through The Wrap, that measures are being taken “aggressively” to pursue those responsible for the breach. According to the streaming platform, this digital attack was the result of one of its post-production partners being targeted. This explains why the leaked episodes are stamped with “for internal use” and “property of Netflix” watermarks and why they lack completed visual and sound effects.

Contrary to many reports circulating online, Stranger Things’ final season was not among the leaked titles. While some users on X have claimed to see leaked Stranger Things episodes, a user on the forum 4chan confirmed that the sci-fi series was not part of the leaked titles, and no early episodes were released online. Allegedly, only subtitles from previous episodes were leaked.

Netflix’s response, however, took longer than expected. It wasn’t until two of its major Western-produced titles, Arcane and Heartstopper, were leaked that the company issued a statement on the matter. Hopefully, this issue will soon be resolved, as more and more animators are voicing their disappointment at having their work spoiled by the security breach.

The entertainment world is currently in shambles after a massive data breach resulted in the unexpected release of several highly-anticipated Netflix projects.

As it stands, the majority of the leaks have been animated projects — including season 2 of Arcane and Terminator Zero — although several popular drama series have also been affected by the recent breach, according to the Los Angeles Times. These include episodes of Heartstopper season 3 and Stranger Things season 5 (which also happens to be the show’s final outing).

With the sci-fi series set to embark on its final showdown in the fictional town of Hawkins, die-hard fans are itching at the possibility of learning what’s to come in the upcoming season — especially with ever-growing speculation about several potential character deaths.

In the aftermath of the breach, a message from the anonymous leaker insisted that the first three episodes of the fifth and final season are in the leaker’s possession and will be leaked at some point in the future. As of right now, however, the leaks are highly unsubstantiated and have yet to be confirmed, but that certainly hasn’t stopped the Stranger Things fandom from gritting their teeth in both anticipation and anxiety.

Leaks of this magnitude are certainly unnecessary and a complete disservice to the folks who work around the clock to create these projects. That said, it’s not surprising fans are eager to gaze their eyes upon Hawkins once again, having waited over two years for a fresh-faced season.

So at this time of writing, no, season 5 of Stranger Things has not been leaked. The majority of netizens on X and 4chan do not believe that season 5 will be included in the Netflix breach, despite an anonymous hacker claiming to be in possession of the three episodes.

‘I’ve never regretted watching a show more’: ‘The Umbrella Academy’ season 4 is so bad fans are dubbing it the new ‘Game of Thrones’ https://wegotthiscovered.com/netflix/ive-never-regretted-watching-a-show-more-the-umbrella-academy-season-4-is-so-bad-fans-are-dubbing-it-the-new-game-of-thrones/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/netflix/ive-never-regretted-watching-a-show-more-the-umbrella-academy-season-4-is-so-bad-fans-are-dubbing-it-the-new-game-of-thrones/#respond Fri, 09 Aug 2024 13:52:08 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1737165 It was fun, but not while it lasted.]]>

The Umbrella Academy used to be one of Netflix‘s greatest shows. Not only is the streamer’s high-profile comic book adaptation one of the few speculative fiction shows that didn’t get a premature axing after two seasons, but it also never dipped terribly hard into fan service (a fate that even Stranger Things, for all its merits, couldn’t avoid).

Unfortunately, now that the fourth and final season has made its bow, The Umbrella Academy has proven that maybe it should have ended earlier. Indeed, the swansong for this once-beloved series has manifested in an awkward, jarring mess that has seemingly convinced itself that an excess of quirkiness and shock is an acceptable stand-in for storytelling.

As such, the internet is ablaze with disappointment, with X serving up some stone-cold comparisons to the infamous Game of Thrones bookend while Reddit tries to process the trauma from this clumsy nosedive.

Based on Gerard Way’s comic book series of the same name, The Umbrella Academy premiered its first season back in 2019, garnering oodles of viewership numbers and eventually becoming the most-watched series of that year. Back then and throughout its second and arguably third seasons, the show established itself as the home of some of the finest superhero storytelling around, balancing levity, emotional weight, colorful genre stylings, and a lived-in urban aesthetic to fantastic effect.

But that was then, and this is now, and by all appearances, there are no alternate timelines to save The Umbrella Academy from this particular fate.

All four seasons of The Umbrella Academy are available to stream on Netflix.

The Umbrella Academy is bowing out in style, and it’s been a long journey through different timelines for each character on the Netflix hit. In the epic conclusion, we see the Hargreeves family reunite one last time when they are pulled out of their idyllic, powerless lives following the events of season 3. There are some new faces on the show, so here’s a refresher on who you can expect to see in season 4 of The Umbrella Academy.

Colm Feore as Sir Reginald Hargreeves

In season 1 of The Umbrella Academy, we were introduced to Reginald as the toxic patriarch of the Hargreeves family. He adopted as many of the 43 powered children born on October 1, 1989, and created the superhero team, The Umbrella Academy. The show is kicked off by his death, which reunites the siblings after years apart, and, by the end of season 3, we take a step closer to discovering his true identity and agenda.

Tom Hopper as Luther Hargreeves (Number 1)

Luther, who has super strength, has undergone an equally super journey from season 1 until the end of season 3. From being their father’s underappreciated favorite, to getting betrayed by Reginald, Luther’s been through quite a lot. Nonetheless, he is the most optimistic and idealistic of the siblings, despite everything they have been through. Now that he has a normal body again, we see Luther enjoying life a lot more, and as eager as ever to unite with his family.

David Castaneda as Diego Hargreeves (Number 2)

Diego has always been the most restless of the siblings, turning to vigilantism when The Umbrella Academy disbanded. Throughout the seasons however, Diego has proven that he is very caring under his tough exterior, especially when it comes to his on-again-off-again partner Lila. Despite her lying to him that he had a son in season 3, the two are faced with a new journey when she reveals that she is pregnant.

Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison Hargreeves (Number 3)

Most of the Hargreeves siblings have had struggles with their powers, but Allison’s story was especially poignant. We watch her struggle with guilt and shame in season 1 after using her mind control powers on both her husband and daughter, Claire. She swears to never use her powers again, betrays her siblings, and finally gets the life she wants with her daughter, but her past actions still haunt her.

Robert Sheehan as Klaus Hargreeves (Number 4)

Klaus is the most eccentric of the siblings, with the ability to see ghosts, which he continually dulls with drugs and alcohol in the first few seasons. His traumatic childhood as well as his lost loves constantly haunt him, but in season 3, we discover the full extent of Klaus’s powers. He can not only speak to the dead but can come back from death too. Klaus uses his powers at the end of season 3 to help his seasons but is understandably cynical about reuniting with them.

Aidan Gallagher as Number 5

Five is undeniably the most enigmatic Hargreeves siblings. Lost to time at the age of 13, he never got a real name and just goes by the number Reginald gave them as children. As a time-traveling assassin, Five is always the one with a plan and is always ten steps ahead of his siblings. In season 3, we saw him finally decide to take a break, only to be pulled into another doomsday event. At this point, all that the fans want for Five is some peace.

Justin H. Min as Ben Hargreeves (Number 6)

Ben was killed before the events of the show began and spent the first two seasons of the show as a ghost that only Klaus could see. We saw him channel his power to manifest a tentacled monster through Klaus in the season 1 finale but in season 3, we were introduced to an alternate version of Ben. This Ben is arrogant and snobbish, unlike the loving Ben we had grown to know. Beneath it all he, is very insecure, which will be explored in season 4.

Elliot Page as Viktor Hargreeves (Number 7)

Viktor was introduced in season 1 as the outcast, powerless sibling. He was further ostracized from his family after writing a tell-all biography chronicling their toxic childhood in The Umbrella Academy. Unknown to himself and his siblings, he actually had the most powerful abilities of them all and accidentally triggered the apocalypse they spent the entire first season trying to stop. Viktor’s story in the following seasons is one of self-discovery and acceptance.

Ritu Arya as Lila Pitts

The morally dubious daughter of the Commission’s leader, Lila, was introduced in season 2 and immediately hit it off with Diego romantically while forming a rivalry with Five. Lila is one of the 43 children born on October 1, 1989, and eventually becomes an ally of The Umbrella Academy. Just like Diego, beneath her tough exterior, she is caring, and like all of the Hargreeves siblings, craves love and acceptance.

Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally as Drs. Gene and Jean Thibedeau

Gene is introduced as the mysterious leader of the Keepers, a strange cult introduced in season 4 while Jean, his wife, is a devout follower.

Victoria Sawal as Jennifer

The “Jennifer incident” has been hinted at since season 1 as the mission the Umbrella’s were on when Ben died. In season 4, the incident is finally explained and seems to be integral to the mystery of the season.

David Cross as Sy Grossman

Another character shrouded in mystery is Sy, a shady character somehow connected to Jennifer. Obviously we don’t want to spoil too much about how the final season shakes out, so if you want to see for yourself it’s available on Netflix now.

Can we expect a third season soon?]]>

Rising Impact is a Netflix anime series based on Nakaba Suzuki’s Japanese manga series of the same name.

The plot follows Gawain Nanaumi, a third-grader who becomes obsessed with golf after meeting professional golfer Kiria Nishino. He soon begins his own journey in the competitive world of the popular club-and-ball sport and finds himself up against the world’s best talent, forming intense rivalries along the way.

All 12 episodes of the first season hit the popular streaming platform on June 22, 2024, and all 14 episodes of the second season followed a month and a half later, on Aug. 6.

Both seasons have been met with critical acclaim, with praise for the animation, characters, voice cast, story, and the show’s ability to make golf more accessible and get viewers interested in the sport. But is there a third season on the way any time soon?

When is season 3 of Rising Impact coming?

Rising Impact

As things stand, Rising Impact season 3 has not been confirmed, let alone given a confirmed release date. However, given how well-received the first two seasons were, fans should undoubtedly still be optimistic it will happen.

If it does happen, and if the release pattern matches that of season 2, it should arrive around mid-September (a month and a half after season 2, which is how long it took season 2 to arrive after season 1).

For now, however, fans of the show will have to wait patiently for updates and we’ll be sure to provide them once any information is made public.

When is ‘iZombie’ leaving Netflix? https://wegotthiscovered.com/netflix/when-is-izombie-leaving-netflix/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/netflix/when-is-izombie-leaving-netflix/#respond Thu, 08 Aug 2024 22:45:36 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1736821 What are we going to do without this show?!]]>

Even people who aren’t horror fans have likely wondered what being a zombie would be like. While living forever is appealing, the idea of eating human flesh isn’t so lovely. (I want to know if zombies can still drink coffee, but maybe that’s just me.)

The CW drama iZombie is unique in that it focuses on the good the protagonist does when she turns into the undead as opposed to her newfound joy of consuming people. Co-created by Rob Thomas, the brilliant mind behind Veronica Mars, which thankfully got a season 4 after being canceled, iZombie stars Rose McIver as a med student who turns lemons into lemonades (or brains into, well, something) when she becomes a zombie.

While it would be great if it was possible to watch the show on Netflix anytime, that is sadly no longer the case. So, when will the show leave the platform?

How much longer can you watch iZombie on Netflix?

Rahul Kohli and Rose McIver in iZombie
Image via The CW

iZombie will only be on Netflix for just under another month. According to What’s On Netflix, it seems likely that the series will be taken off the streaming service on Sept. 6, 2024.

What’s On Netflix published this info based on The CW/Netflix deal. Back in 2011 and then in 2016, the network and the streamer decided that when a CW show is done airing on TV, then that season would become part of Netflix’s library for five years. While they could have made another agreement in 2019, ViaComCBS thought it would be best to move The CW shows onto HBO Max. So, while the fifth season of iZombie (which is sadly the last) joined Netflix on Aug. 10, 2019, that five-year time frame is almost up.

Whether someone is brand new to iZombie (I’m jealous!) or watched it all back in the day, the story of Liv Moore (get it?!) is fun, sweet, moving, and surprising. The series stands out among several awesome zombie movies and paints a compelling picture of Liv’s love life and how she pivots when her professional dreams get off course. It’s smart that Liv wants to work at a morgue and help solve crimes when she realizes she can learn a lot about someone after eating their brain. I love iZombie because the last season is pretty out there, and when it sometimes feels like TV and movies are too predictable, that’s always welcome.

The ‘Arcane’ season 2 leak, explained https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/the-arcane-season-2-leak-explained/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/the-arcane-season-2-leak-explained/#respond Thu, 08 Aug 2024 19:59:35 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1736788 Has it finally fallen victim to the curse of the never-ending Netflix data breaches?]]>

It’s been 84 years since we last saw Arcane — well, at least, that’s what it feels like. Season 1 premiered on Netflix in Nov. 2021, and since then, we’ve only had a few poster releases and one too-short trailer. Oh, and some episode leaks — but that’s hardly what we were hoping for.

Admittedly, the leaking of episodes is always a paradoxical dilemma for fans. On one hand, we want to support the creators and animators by watching the show legally and experiencing it alongside everyone else when it officially drops — there’s a sense of camaraderie in that shared experience. On the other hand… the leaked episodes are right there, just a click away — but we must stay strong. To be fair, no one expected Arcane to be among the leaked titles, forcing us to confront this morally complex decision.

But yet, here we are.

Was Arcane Season 2 leaked online?

Vi - Arcane
Image via Netflix

Yes, Arcane was among several animated titles leaked on Netflix due to a security breach. Just yesterday, we saw a slew of fall anime titles leaked ahead of their scheduled October and November releases, including Dandadan, Ranma ½, The SpongeBob Movie, and Terminator Zero. This may be one of the biggest leak crises in Netflix’s history, and unfortunately, Arcane has fallen victim to it.

The streamer is yet to release a statement about the incident, but fans are already reacting on social media. From spoiler warnings to fans celebrating the leaked content, it seems that everyone who watches animated shows is well aware of the current breach. Unfortunately, this also highlights the vulnerability of streaming services worldwide.

This isn’t the first time Netflix has been affected by a data breach. According to FirewallTimes, in 2017, episodes of Orange Is the New Black were leaked online. Two years later, Attunity, a data management firm failed to properly secure backup data. Then, in 2021, there was the infamous password breach that affected Gmail, Yahoo, Netflix, and many other services. Well, at the moment, all we can do is hope that the animators and writers of Arcane are fairly compensated for their work, despite this situation.

He still sports an irrefutably, pinch-ably youthful face, but Umbrella Academy‘s Aidan Gallagher is a kid no longer.

He turned 20 late last year, landing the star a fair few years above the spry time-traveling teen he portrays on the Netflix favorite, and fans are starting to notice. Netflix has done a wonderful job of working Number Five’s aging into the storyline — nothing could ever suck as much as enduring puberty twice — but the streamer is doing its absolute best to keep the appearance of youth alive.

Gallagher has been selling the teenage look for years now, even as he ventured out of adolescence and into adulthood, but there’s one thing no amount of makeup or skincare can ever fix: his height. As he steps into adulthood the star is doing so in somewhat longer slacks than he wore in the show’s first season, but with some careful camerawork, fans aren’t likely to notice.

How tall is Aidan Gallagher?

Gallagher was selected to play Number Five, easily among the most treasured members of the Umbrella Academy lineup, for good reason. His youthful appearance was a clear draw, but it was his sprightly look combined with immense, obvious talent that really sold audiences on the character. Gallagher had his work cut out for him, playing a 58-year-old man trapped in a teen’s body, and he delivered in truly unmatched fashion.

As a result, he’s among the fanbase’s favorite characters, even as he ages out of his wry adolescence and into full maturity. Fans are starting to notice as gradual changes occur, hardening the star’s angles and strengthening his features, but one thing viewers aren’t likely to notice is a major change in height.

Gallagher’s been sitting pretty at right around 5 feet, 5 inches for years now, and he’s not gained many inches, despite the time he’s spent in the role. He already towered over Elliot Page’s measly 5 feet, 1 inch in the show’s debut season, and as it heads fast toward a conclusion, he still falls right in the middle of the Umbrella Academy cast.

‘Too Hot To Handle’: Are Chris and Sabrina still together? https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/too-hot-to-handle-are-chris-and-sabrina-still-together/ https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/too-hot-to-handle-are-chris-and-sabrina-still-together/#respond Thu, 08 Aug 2024 11:07:40 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.com/?p=1736259 Did Chris and Sabrina find a deeper connection after 'Too Hot to Handle'?]]>

Too Hot to Handle season 6 changed some things from its previous format, with all the cast aware they were on the Netflix hit dating show. One of the people who didn’t find a match until later in the season was Chris and he seemed smitten with new arrival Sabrina — so, are they still together?

Chris Aalli first showed interest in Bri Balram when season 6 started. However, after a brief kiss, Bri decided she wanted Demari Davis, and the two of them formed one of the strongest couples in season 6, and ended up winning the $125,000 prize together. Chris left them a clear path and he and Demari formed one of the best bromances in the show’s history.

Throughout the ten episodes, Chris definitely showed growth and willingness to become a better partner — however, he didn’t connect with anyone until Sabrina Zima arrived later in the season. Although she initially had her eyes set on Charlie, with whom she had a rule-free date, she and Chris connected afterward and finished the season together.

Chris and Sabrina are no longer dating

Chris struggled to find a connection with the women at the villa but hit it off immediately with Sabrina, and enjoyed the rule-free perk, and even broke the rules later on. Chris seemed committed to working on their connection, but their relationship didn’t work outside the villa, PEOPLE reports. The two reportedly stayed in touch after filming with Chris adding a picture of Sabrina to his vision board.

The fact that they live in different countries surely didn’t help. Chris lives in the U.K., while Sabrina lives in Canada, so the two would have to start a long-distance relationship. However, the two still follow each other on social media, and he commented, “Sweet one,” with a candy emoji when she promoted the reality show.

Sabrina stayed in touch with Bri and hung out with Too Hot to Handle season 2 contestant Carly Lawrence. Meanwhile, Chris shared a video of him working out with Demari and had several photo shoots with Charlie, but they didn’t share any photos or videos of each other.

Although their relationship didn’t last, Chris and Sabrina were a great couple on Too Hot to Handle, and they were a fan-favorite couple while it lasted.
